Topics include organization and governance of healthcare organizations; regulation; healthcare fraud and abuse; professional licensing and credentialing; compliance, quality and risk management; privacy and security of individually identifiable health information; healthcare decision-making; professional liability and malpractice. Other topics include legal and ethical issues surrounding healthcare technologies, medical research, and medical breakthroughs.
